Redsave Scam

Redsave is a new shopping website which is compliant with :

The Enterprise Act of 2002
The Consumer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000
The Unfair Terms in Consumer Contract Regulations 1999

Since September 2006, redsave.com has always endeavoured to understand and interpret all Distant Selling Regulations and Codes or Practice to ensure our Website and Terms and Conditions are both Compliant and appropriate to suit our Shopping Customers

We always welcome our local Trading Standards' Officers to visit our Company and during these productive meetings on the 05.12.06, 09.02.07, 08.10.07 and 13.05.08, we have always taken heed of their advise and their own interpretations of all Regulations. We always act in a professional manner and act accordingly. Trading Standards have also taken their own advice from The Office of Fair Trading on certain matters regarding redsave.com, and these comments have been passed through to our company, regarding their opinions on the compliance to both their Codes of Practice and The Enterprise Act of 2000

Three main ammendments have now been completed in our Terms and Conditions, which leads us to believe that redsave.com is fully compliant with all Regulations and all Codes of Pratice :

(a) To allow our Customer "7 Working Days" for a cooling off period, in which to return their unwanted goods, rather than our quoted "7 Days"

(b) Redsave Shopping Pass Members will now be given 28 formal days notice, with an opt-in facility if we decided to increase the redsave pass monthly membership fee

(c) Customers can now return their unwanted or faulty goods without the restriction of a "RAN returns reference" ( although we would still prefer our customers to request a RAN number from our customer services, as this will allow us to process returns more efficiently )

Redsave offers two price options. If you select the lower price, the purchaser agrees to enter into a 30 day free trial of the Redsave monthly membership pass. The new customer can cancel their trial membership at any time within the 30 days and keep the purchased goods with the low Redsave price. If the customer does not cancel, during this 30 day period, then Redsave will assume that this new customer wishes to retain their monthly membership pass and will therefore be billed accordingly for their monthly membership, after their free trial.

This new shopping concept is clearly described on our home page, throughout the website and within our contractual terms and conditions

During the last 18 months, we have received some negative remarks on shopping forums, that are unreasonable and not true. These amount to libel and will be damaging to our website's reputation that has delighted many thousands of shoppers. Therefore, we are currently processing High Court legal actions against certain individual forum posters' and also the owners of these forum websites, as we will not tolerate this abuse or damage to our company

For those individuals wishing to add to forum's or leave their material posted, please note that Redsave does support fair and accurate "free voice" on the internet. However, there are areas of "free voice" that are open to further dispute : First, because the poster remains anonymous, so Redsave cannot reply or comment to their specific question or situation and second, because the owners of these forums edit material to suit their own preferences, by either not posting positive remarks and not allowing our own Redsave comments to be broadcast
